The Company
Established in 1938 by our co-founders John George and Peter Bullen, we are now recognised as leading independent Building Services Contractors providing sustainable, high quality engineering solutions for electrical and mechanical building services.
Utilising skills, experience and strong management control, EV Bullen offers fully integrated solutions for our clients’ specific needs, whether an individual project, or a full works programme.
The innovation and quality standards set by our founders are ingrained within the business and regular training investment ensures that we pass on traditional craftsmen’s skills and new technologies for a sustainable future.
Her Majesty's Royal Warrant
We are extremely proud to have been granted Her Majesty’s Royal Warrant in 2004 and prior to this to have provided a continual service to the Royal Household and Landmark Buildings of National Importance for over 30 years.

Health & Saftey
EV Bullen monitor and adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines, both on-site and in our Head Office. Each project undertaken is risk assessed during the preliminary site survey and throughout the term of the contract.
We are Safe Contractor accredited andenforce the Health & Safety Work Act, the COSHH regulations, the Electricity at Work Act and our CHAS accreditation recognises
our safe working practices.
We have dedicated Health & Safety retained consultants (THSP) who regularly review our policy and every employee is given a document outlining Health and Safety arrangements together with individual roles and responsibilities.
Training
All EV Bullen operatives are expected to adhere to regular Health and Safety training and undertake initial training as part of their induction process. Training is company-wide including Engineers, Contract Managers, Site Supervisors and Directors.
Quality Assurance
We provide a bespoke level of service to every client, paying close attention to the finer details of each project.
We aim to deliver our projects to the highest standards as part of our commitment to ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. This involves risk and value management, a strong team work ethos, cost measurement, best value procedures and good design quality.
We continue to develop and improve every aspect of running contracts, the details of which are assessed and updated annually in line with our IMSM third party assessment procedures.
